R3 Reaches for the Stars (and Stripes)
Berlin, Germany, January 2024
Berlin-based wireless expert R3 Solutions GmbH has selected the United States as its key market for 2024. As a result, the team has established a Master Sales Representative relationship with Advanced Industrial Marketing (AIM) and began building a U.S.-based application development team in late 2023. As part of the Rockwell Automation Technology Partner Program, the company has strengthened its position through collaboration with its sales partners. In addition, R3 has recently begun collaborating with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as part of the German Accelerator “US Market Entry” program.
With a strong presence in factory automation for the automotive industry, R3 is benefiting from the significant infrastructure investments being made by U.S. electric vehicle manufacturers. “We completed our first wireless network installation at an EV company in 2019, where we equipped a fully battery-powered skillet line with our technology. That was a truly unique installation at the time. Today, we see many established automakers building EV manufacturing facilities, and we’re excited to support them with our expertise in control and safety communications over the air.” Florian Bonanati, R3’s other CEO, adds.
In 2024, both CEOs will travel frequently to the United States and will be available for discussions with R3’s Head of Application Engineering, Curtis Combs, and AIM’s experienced specialists, Rob and Al Hruskoci. Great opportunities to meet the R3 team will be available at the Automate Fair in Chicago in May and the Rockwell Automation Fair in Anaheim in November.
