R3 reaches for the Stars (and Stripes)
Berlin, Germany, January 2024
Berlin-based wireless expert company R3 Solutions GmbH selects the United States as its focus market in 2024. As a result, the team established a master sales representative relationship with Advanced Industrial Marketing (AIM) and began building a US-based application development team in late 2023. As part of the Rockwell Automation Technology Partner Program, its position has been strengthened through collaboration with its sales partners. In addition, R3 has just started collaborating with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate as part of the German Accelerator “US Market Entry” program.
“Choosing the right focus is crucial for the success of young companies as ours, and all signs point in the direction that the United States is the right market to focus on these days.”
With a strong footprint in factory automation for the automotive industry, R3 takes advantage of significant infrastructure investments of US electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers. “We have set up our first wireless network installation at an EV company in 2019, where we equipped a completely battery-operated skillet line with our technology. It was quite a special setup these days. Today, we see many established car manufacturers building up EV manufacturing facilities, and we are happy to support them with our expertise in control and safety traffic via the air.” Florian Bonanati, R3’s other CEO, adds.
In 2024, both CEOs will travel frequently to the United States. and will be available for meetings with R3’s application engineering lead, Curtis Combs, and AIM’s seasoned professionals, Rob and Al Hruskoci. Good chances to meet the R3 team are at the Automate Fair in Chicago in May and the Rockwell Automation Fair in Anaheim in November.
